January – Plumeria Care

We can still relax for a while. Our Frangipanis don’t actually require anything from us in January.
Let’s leave them alone and take care of family and friends instead, because from May on, time will become scarce for that 🙂

Do not water your plants in January!
You can give them a small glass of water if the trunk of your Frangipani is quite shriveled, but nothing more!

Do not fertilize your Frangipani during the ongoing winter dormancy. It may not be able to process it, and the roots could be damaged.

Under no circumstances should you cut unnecessary shoots or new cuttings from your plant. It might not recover from this.

In January, it is unusual for your Frangipani to have flowers or develop new buds, as it is in winter dormancy.

It is not the ideal time for sowing. Please wait until at least the end of March with this plan! Just be a little more patient!

Do not repot your Frangipani now! Your plant is in winter dormancy and may not survive this intervention.
