Frangipani Cuttings

Here you can see a selection of our Frangipani cuttings. Cuttings are unrooted offshoots from flowering mother plants. You should only buy cuttings if you are familiar with the rooting of cuttings or are willing to take the risk of a loss, as cuttings can rot, leading to a loss of your investment and significant frustration.

These are unrooted cuttings whose cut surface has already dried. Whether callus formation has already begun can be found on the respective product page under the tab „additional information“. There you will also find the respective important information about the cutting such as size, number of shoots, and stem diameter.

As a rooting method, we recommend rooting in Perlite (or a Perlite / Vermiculite / soil mix) or the Bagrooting method.

Cuttings are live plants. Therefore, we have no influence on how long it will take for the cutting to develop roots or whether it will develop any at all. There are many factors that influence this. If you have never worked with cuttings before, we advise against it! Tips for handling cuttings can also be found in the book Fascination Plumerias – Care and Propagation

When you choose a plant, you will automatically receive our Frangipani Guide for Plants upon purchase. You can also download it here at any time as a PDF. Plumeria Cutting Guide

Or our Overview, which we are always expanding, detailing which cutting may have issues with rooting.
