Structure of a frangipani seed

In addition to the video in which we explain how to sow frangipani seeds correctly, we have explained the structure of a single frangipani seed in detail in the picture.

The seed consists of 2 parts. In the upper part is the flag, which ensures that the seed can fly in the wind and thus spread very well.

The lower part is the germ cell, the most important part of the frangipani seed. In the illustration we have also simulated how deep a seed has to be inserted into the growing medium.

You can check seeds at any time to see if they are generally germinable. To do this, take the germ cell between your thumb and index finger and press very lightly. If you feel no resistance, this seed is not germinable. If you feel resistance, this seed has a germ cell. However, whether it will germinate is still a question of care!
