Frangipani Seeds
Growing a frangipani from seed is very exciting but also relatively easy if you consider certain factors. If you have patience and would like to see your own frangipani grow from seed to plant, you can try raising it from seed. Growing from seed is not difficult. Fresh seeds usually germinate after 2 - 4 weeks and if they are not kept too moist, they grow relatively easily.
After one year, the young seeds should be fertilised properly, placed in the sun and of course watered regularly. Flowering occurs (in Europe) at the earliest 4 - 7 years after sowing (of course there are small miracles now and then).
Of course, you can get everything you need to start growing seeds in the shop. So if you like excitement and have patience, we can recommend growing frangipani from seed, because it is always exciting...

Attention, if you want a special colour for your frangipani, then growing from seed is not the way to go!
With seeds (even if the mother plant is known), even from one seed capsule different colours come in the flowers, because all gene information is present in the genetic material. So it can happen that you get a new one with red flowers from the seeds of a white Plumeria.
Raising from seed has the advantage that (when new colours and forms develop) you can register them under your own name.
